CITY GUIDES

Architecture Guide - Doha

A project in collaboration with the architectural website www.mimoa.eu from the Netherlands. MIMOA is an online guide to the world's Contemporary Architecture, providing the exact addresses and interactive maps to visit buildings, interiors, squares, parks and bridges. It is one of the best web sources of information for your cultural city trip with all buildings in one view.  Since its launch in 2007, MIMOA has built up a large community of 30.000 architects and architecture lovers from all over the world and the website reaches globally around 100.000 unique visitors per month. The database of MIMOA contains over 8.000 architectural projects in 92 different countries all over the world.

We have extensive experience in creating guides, as e-book (online) as well as in print. One of our latest examples of an event guide is the architecture guide we created exclusively for the Pritzker Prize Foundation on the occasion of the Award ceremony in Amsterdam last year: http://mimoa.eu/guides/ Or download here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/zkxji3qibgpplp3/MIMOA-PritzkerGuide_20140609_compleet.pdf?dl=0

The Doha guide will be created using the same format, as shown in the attached sample guide. Please note that the final selection of projects will be curated and discussed with parties involved and all content, texts/photos/credits will be revised carefully for the final publication.

The guide will be promoted through social media, our newsletter (send to 22.000 architecture lovers around the world) and on our homepage. It will be available for viewing online and also in print form if requested.

Some of the images included in this guide have received numerous publications from different countries, awards in international photography competitions, and being exhibited in galleries. We believe this is a testimony to the quality of the work and also to the promotional possibilities of indirect advertisement through the medium of photography in its various forms (editorial and fine art).

In order to complete the guide we are looking for sponsors. Mimoa’s approach is to collaborate with clients/sponsors (either non-commercial or commercial) who will pay a fee to be mentioned on the front cover, in the colophon and they will have the opportunity to deliver the editorial preface and some pages to explain themselves, their services/products, and can claim 2-6 pages to promote themselves.

Sponsor option 1 (exclusive sponsor):

We offer to the exclusive sponsor:

- name/logo on the front cover of the guide (see sample guide)

- 2-6 pages of advertorial in the guide, to promote your brand

- name and external link on the download page of the guide on MIMOA (http://www.mimoa.eu/guides/) and in the news item(s) on the website of MIMOA regarding the guide (see news on our homepage)

- a reference in the colophon of the guide

- a banner in the newsletter of MIMOA (sent to 22.000 architecture lovers), wherein the guide will be promoted

- 20 printed hardcopies of the guide (more copies can be ordered and discussed)

Price of the complete package of exclusive sponsor: € 3.000,-

Sponsor option 2 (a small group of sponsors):

In that case:

3 sponsors for each € 900,-

Promotional package, will include:

The architectural heritage of each region starts with the historic monuments and extends to the contemporary public and private buildings. Architects, engineers, builders and a multitude of other professionals participate with time and effort to the long process of designing and constructing our build environment. From this broader perspective, they all contribute to the creation of a cultural asset that expresses collectively the society that produces and supports it. With this approach the photographic graze presents their work to the public and to visitors in service of a living heritage.

In collaboration with architectural associations and municipalities, we produce City Guides to highlight their architectural heritage, past and present.
